Here you will find information concerning our church and its ministries. We hope you find your time spent here a blessing. Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our fellowship.
If you are relocating to our area, we would love to have you as our guest for worship and Sunday School. Please note that we have two worship services in two different styles.
- At 9 am we worship in an informal service with guitar-led contemporary Christian music. Communion is ordinary celebrated on the second Sunday.
- At 11 am we worship in a traditional style including responsive readings and hymns. Music is provided by our organist/pianist. Communion is ordinarily celebrated on the first Sunday.
Our church actively supports the Emmaus Program. If you would like to participate in these three-day lay renewal weekends, we will be pleased to sponsor you.
When you visit our church, you will find:

JUST THINKING will take place on Tuesday, May 22nd at El Jalisco, 7:00 pm. Pick up the discussion outline Sunday at worship.
Meets every 2nd and 4th Monday at El Jalisco, 505 N. Park Ave., Herrin. An eclectic discussion of the Bible and religious themes in popular culture. We aim to tackle tough subjects, with no question out of bounds!
"HOMETOWN NAZARETH: Where Jesus Was a Kid" was the theme for this year's VBS. God really showed up this year!! Stay tuned for details on next year's VBS!
